Birth is a deeply spiritual thing, and I want to be prepared in every way as we move toward welcoming our next child.

If this is your first baby or your fourth, maybe you’re in the same position as I am. To keep my sanity, I created a checklist based on the ones I found online but added what I saw lacking in them all: spiritual preparation!

This checklist is the actual list I’ve used in the third trimester for my fourth home birth, but I have customized it to be applicable for hospital/birth center births too. You’ll find links to all my favorite items, from outfits to nursing bras to Bible studies, along with some of the things I’ve used and loved over the years.
