Remember What God Has Done
Spring 2022
“Every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.”
–Hebrews 10, Paraphrase
“But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.“
–Hebrews 10, Paraphrase
When we celebrate Easter and Passover, we celebrate God’s great work through remembrance of the finality of Christ’s sacrifice. When we read of God’s deliverance of His people, we remember that He too passes over our sins.
It is Finished.
A Note from Phy:
Remembrance is so important to Christianity–we’re called to remember over 160 times in the Bible, because God delights in proving Himself to His children over and over. Remembrance is not simply looking to events of the past, but believing that God’s work of redemption spans from creation to eternity–physically and tangibly. It is being worked out now, through Jesus.
This spring, we have some very special products that I hope will call you to remember. As usual, the team has been working really hard on them at Every Woman a Theologian, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
